Myself and Matthew celebrated Valentines day on Friday night/Saturday as we couldn't be together today. I cant believe what he done for me, nobody has ever been so romantic. He'd candlelit his bedroom, had my fave song playing in the background, pink champagne, strawberry's dipped in choc he'd made himself, gifts, card etc....I'm so lucky, i feel blessed every single day to have Matthew, each day he does something that amazes me and i'm so proud of him. He gets here Thursday - Monday for a long weekend :)

Had such a nice weekend with Matthew, was amazing to see him after what seemed an eternity of him being on exercise for Afghanistan.  Friday night me and Louise drove down from Stansted and waited for the boys at Jasmine's, Mattys best friends wife. She's amazing getting on so well with her and Louise its so nice to meet some new girlfriends that don't mix with the usual shit glasgow crowd. Saturday me and Matt had the day to ourselves just laying in bed watching movies, sounds boring but these are the days you appreciate most. Sunday we went round to Jasmine's we'd gifts to give wee Maisy, seeing her with her uncle Hodges literally melted my heart...<3 Matts off on a course for another 5days he's up to Glasgow on Friday, can't wait :) Going to take him to St Andrews :) xxxxxxxxx

Christmas Holidays

Christmas holidays have begun, i've done so much already, Matthew has been here since last Friday. I'm so   grateful he is spending his whole leave with me, as this is his last spare time before Afghanistan. We're trying to forget that though and make the most of our precious time.

Friday and Saturday we had bed days watching Christmas movies, he's the only person i've ever been able to spend a full day/night lounging in bed with without being the least bit bored. 

Sunday we took my little cousins Lyle and Glen out for a Christmasy day. It was really nice to see them get on so well with Matthew, i love seeing him around kids, it does make me broody however haha. Anyway, we took them to the cinema to see 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' not our choice...it wasn't so bad actually, Wee Glen was dying to sit next to Matt. After the picture's we went to George square to do the wheel, swings, market etc. Hmv where they got a computer game each then back to Lynne and Frasers for Dinner. It was amazing sitting having drinks and dinner with them, Fraser got on so well with Matthew giving him advice about my parents, i was really happy and at ease.

Monday we went Christmas shopping and cooked dinner at night. Tuesday, wintery walk with Tiger, Matts become Tiger's new Love i think, trying not to be jealous haha.

Wednesday we booked in to the Hilton, our room was gorgeous, Queen suite for 2 nights, we went to the gym, swimming, spa, drinks at the bar, room service everything we possibly could. Next day we ventured in to town for a wee Christmas day, some more shopping, Ice skating, and a lovely dinner at Sarti's. Which brings me up to date, today we went to see Sherlock holmes, it was AMAZING, definitely go see it. Matthew's now popped up to Aberdeen to spend time with his foster family, i will go up on boxing day, give him some quality time with them. 

Tomorrow me and Lala are going to the Ballet to see Sleeping Beauty which has become a Christmas Eve tradition followed by ice skating and dinner, it will be lovely to have a good girly catch up. Army Mes Ball

last Friday was Matthews NCO Army Ball. It was so lovely, i had such a great time. Everyone was so nice the boys where all so funny drunk dancing. Me and Louise travelled down on Friday together from Essex, she's such a nice girl, we get on so well, deffo the start of a good friendship. Her and Curtis are such a nice wee couple. Nice to double date at the weekends.

First Victorias secret purchase :)

I just bought this, i couldn't resist it after seeing it on the VS runway. Its thermal which is great because i've been freezing in bed during the week. It says 'kiss this' in diamonties on the bum and its has a cute wee bum flap haha. not too bad for $39

Moving on with life, growing up

It's horrible to brag but it's also horrible to burst at the seams wanting to tell people your good news and lately i feel like i haven't had a whole load of good news. Next *September me and Matthew's house will be finished and it will be identical to this show house. I can't believe this beautiful 4 bedroom house is going to be my 1st home, i feel so incredibly blessed. We will be moving to Bulford in Sept 2012, which is a nice wee commute to London for my job in Great Ormand Street. Everything for us as a couple building a future seems to be falling in to place very easily, and after going almost half a year with Matt in Afghanistan i think we more than deserve it. Afghan is getting closer and closer, February is far too soon, i want it to come and go as quick as possible so we can get started on our life together, all this waiting around for me to finish university in June and him coming home from Afghan in Sept is soul destroying at times. However, we have all of Christmas leave together and with the luxury of Matt moved in to his new flat we don't need to worry about alone time. Obviously family is important at the festive time but this year we're each other's priority and everyone else will just have to get on with it.
